I have a private registration, can I sell my car?

Yes, we accept your car with or without the private registration, whatever you would prefer.

Will I need to provide any documentation once you agree to buy my car?

Yes, the following must be provided before the sale:

• Two Forms of ID
• Your car keys
• Log book and documents

Do I need to provide accurate information about my car?

To get the offer made by our dealerships, the information needs to be accurate. Otherwise the dealerships will change their offer after viewing the car causing an inconvenience to the seller.

Do you inspect my car?

Yes, the car will be inspected at collection or delivery to ensure the process of submitting car details remain user friendly. This allows sellers to be as accurate as possible so dealerships remain reliable.

Why do I have to provide my email and telephone number?

My car is a non-runner, will you still buy it?

Where will I have to drop off my car?

This will be arranged by your personal account manager, whether it is picked-up by the dealer or delivered by you. This will also be identified in the optional extras, prior to an offer being accepted.

How will I be paid?

Your payment will be instant. Depending on the dealerships you may be paid cash or via direct bank transfer.

I have outstanding finance against my car

Some dealerships will be happy to handle settlements on behalf of our customers.

Depending on the finance company and due to Data Protection regulations, you may have to obtain your settlement figure in writing. If you wish to settle outstanding finance yourself, you will require written confirmation of payment as part of your documentation. Any outstanding finance must be mentioned in your description of your car.

I cannot find my car on your website

What happens if I miss a scratch or dent?

Our indicative price and the offers made by the dealers are based on an accurate description. Ideally, when filling in our condition assessment we advise you to actually walk around your car in daylight to appraise your car thoroughly. If your online appraisal does not match what the dealer sees at the time of collection, the price will be adjusted accordingly.

What if I do not have a V5 registration document?

To sell your car you will need this documentation. If you don't have it you can acquire a new document by filling in form V62 which you can download from the DVLA website or pick up from any post office.
